"From May 15th to 18th, 2025, a delegation from Malsch visited our Polish twin town of Syców – it was an eventful, hospitable, and unforgettable few days! The trip was entirely dedicated to the town twinning and cultural exchange. After a guided tour of the town hall (led by Mayor Lukasz Kuzmicz) and a walk through Syców, including a visit to the brick Gothic Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul, we enjoyed a breathtaking panoramic view of Syców from the bell tower. Our tour then took us to the Protestant church, the former castle church, which also hosts concerts due to its excellent acoustics. ...After a short break, art and music were on the agenda: a closing event at the regional museum featuring the work of Malsch-based photographer Dennis Kleinbub, which, among other things, explored the theme of "Half-timbered houses in Malsch," followed by a visit to the cultural center for a concert by an Irish artist as part of the "Syców Days" festival."
